After Sales
Thorworld will support your purchase with a robust after sales service, including:
Training:
At Thorworld we have developed a thorough training course for the use of our container ramps. This includes a theory session, short test and practical session with the equipment. Though it is not a legal requirement, completion of the course is a way for employers to increase the safety of it’s employees when operating our equipment, and is also a valuable tool for proving competency of employees.
Installation:
Some loading ramps are used in a fixed position to allow access between two different floor heights. Our team of competent installation engineers can install in a safe and efficient manner on your site.
Inspection:
This is required by law in the UK under the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), and we provide suitable after sales service, in the form of competent engineers to carry out inspections and repair work of your container ramp where necessary.
Replacement Parts:
Delays in obtaining replacement parts can lead to delays in your operation, and can ultimately be very costly. Thorworld is able to provide container ramp replacement parts quickly and reliably, to avoid the use of alternative parts that can invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty and can potentially lead to dangerous and costly faults.
Health and Safety:
All our engineers who work on the container ramps are heavily experienced, have completed rigorous training in their field, and hold the following competencies:
- Construction Skill Certification Scheme (CSCS),
- Client/Contractor National Safety Group Safety Passort (CCNSG)
- Thorworld as an organisation first achieved SAFEcontractor approval in 2010
